Also Matt, how did you mask all the machined surfaces?

I just told the guy at the powder coaters which surfaces I didn't want coating and they masked them up for me. They used to do all of the Palmersport cars so were familiar with what wishbones, etc were, which helped.

Yep. No longer fitted as I ended up replacing them with the Elise Parts lightweight steering arms as I needed to be able to get some more negative camber and couldn't be arsed to try and find someone to machine the OEM parts down.

2 way compressed air hammer a god send for the hub bolts. Couldn't undo them with the breaker bar. this thing did it in 3 seconds.

Those bolts were what finally convinced me to buy a compressor and a load of air tools. :rolleyes:

New bolts, bushes, ball joints will be fun putting back together.
Dis you take pics of where everything went or write a list?

yep, and i'm pretty methodical about where i put everything that comes off the car. Each corner has its own set of boxes. very little that came off is going back on though. Bolts, washers, nuts, snubbers, ball joints, bushes, shocks, arb(s), drop links, toe links are all being replaced by new. Its not a cheap process. I've gone past the £3k mark :sick:
