TonyIles - 2 sets kipper - 2 sets NickB777 - 2 sets Jase_MK - 2 sets MikeF - 2 sets R1 nur - 2 sets Quick & Dirty - 2 sets JamesGray - 2 sets Steve Crisp - 2 sets? stevevx220 - 2 sets 1 question mark to go! :) QUOTE For the price: if the final bill which I receive will not give any big surprises, one set would be 8 pounds (or 12 euro's), excluding shipping (~3 pounds). If you want 2 sets or more I will make it 6 pounds per set, excluding shipping (~4 pounds for 2 sets). For payment, I am looking into the possibilities. I have a Dutch bank account, so it may not be straight forward  I will look into Pay Pal, as suggested by one of you.... (Don't have a clue yet how that works :D ). Mike

Hi Muncher! I'll put you on the reserve list, no problem thumbsup For the paying part, I am looking into Paypal, but it is not all clear to me. Maybe you can help me with this? You can choose between different accounts. I guess for me the Personal and Premier Accounts are interesting. However, the Personal Account will not charge any money for when I receive payments, the Premier Account DOES charge for this. The personal account looks to be the way to go for me then, but the Paypal site tells me that when using this account I can not accept debit or credit card payments. What are the other ways of paying then for you guys? Just normal "bank card" payments? Would paying other than using debit or credit card become a problem for you? Please help me out here! Imnotworthy :) Mike

Mike, if I were youI would go for a normal Personal PayPal account. As you say with a Premier account you will get charged for every transaction. It takes about 10 days to load money from the buyer's bank account (which would be a debit card) into the buyers PayPal account, then they can send the money off to you. This is assuming they did not have any funds in their Paypal account already. With a Premier account people could pay you instantly off their credit or debit card. If people aren't in a mad rush you would be better off with a Personal account. In any case it will take you a week or so to setup your PayPal account, in the meantime others can setup their own PayPal account or load money into their account.

International bank transfers are way too expensive
Cheques from UK banks will not be honoured by overseas banks
There are international money orders
Western Union?

I'll have a look to see if there are any other ways of paying overseas, without having silly expensive fees the biggest problem is that its a lot of little transactions, rather than one big one, does anyone want to be an clkearnace house for the moneys to Mike in Holland

I use Paypal extensively for my Ebay transactions - thats my prefered route

Just found this on the net

the reason I wanted the bolts is that the trailing bolt on the nearside front sheared, which left me with two front wheels pointing in different directions, .........scary, I got new bolts off local VXL dealer, had them fitted, the engineering workshop who extracted the sheared bolt in the hub carrier said the bolt as too "soft", so I will glad to get the uprated bolts

Well, Tony, I don't think you have to search for other ways of doing the payments, it looks like the Paypal system is the way to go.
I hope that everybody is willing to pay via that route, else, please let me know and we will sort something out.
[commercial mode on] I don't think it will be a problem as I understand that this system is well proven and it is without cost! So people without a Paypal account will have to sign up, but after that you'll have a very handy pay method for your internet shopping![/cm off] :D

In the meantime I will set-up a Personal account.

Dario, you're on the reserve list!

Thanks Tony, I wouldn't mind sending all the sets seperately, and dealing with the small transactions, but it will make life a bit easier thumbsup Again, I am happy to send/receive everything myself, so that's also still an option. M.

So, lets have a debate, what do the rest of us UK VX owners want to do? - are you happy to deal with Mike directly if you have a paypal account, or do you want me to pay on your behalf, and I can redistribute within UK, I'll need to know off mike what the exact weight of the set(s) is Mike - As soon as your paypal account is set up, all I will need is your e-mail address, and I can transfer the money, just let me know what the final price is, and the paypal fees are

Goddamit! Missed another useful thread :beat: Mike, I could ask you to add me to the reserve list but I don't think there will be enough cancellations... :( Will you be ordering another run of these bolts at any time? Is a smaller run possible now that the supplier knows what you want? If you have any more sets coming in I would like a couple of sets myself please :) Andy

Tony,

I would be very happy to go with your solution i.e. being the 'distribution' agent here in England.

However, please make sure that you do not end up out of pocket at the end of the task.

Thanks in advance
