Has anyone fitted /seen/used these and have any idea whether they give you a grip perfromance improvement.

They claim to be lighter than standard and seem to run lower profile tyres than standard which reduces ground clearance.

http://www.vx-perfor...ec0b780bdb3ab7b

Price seems quite good compared to OZ and Speedline.

ATS recommend lower profile tyres for these wheels because the wheels are nominal 18 inch Standard Bridgestones are 175/55/17 and 225/45/17 ATS recommend 215/40/18 and 255/35/18 respectively the wheels themselves are also wider being 8J and 9.5J but because they are 18 inch wheels there probably isn't much change in ground clearance. skogshuggarn - that is a very cool looking car - have you used her car on track and what tyres have you fitted to the big wheels? Have you noticed any difference from standard wheels?

The rims are shipped in the dimensions 7,5x17" (front) and 9x17" (rear). They are fitted without distance plates. Recommended tyre dimensions: 205/40R17 (front) and 235/40R17 (rear) seems they are 17" on that site not 18"

Hi all,

At the moment i'm busy to get wheels specially made for my Speedy/VX2200 in a 16"/17" combo. I'm also trying to start a groupbuy fot it on the Dutch Speedster site. Maybe there is also interest fot it here?

Its's this wheel.

Posted Image

Size of the wheels are 7x16" ET 23 and 8x17" ET30. The 16" wheighs about 6 Kg and the 17" about 7Kg.
I have no exact price available yet, But wi'll be around 550/600 Gbp.

p.s. I'm sorry for my (very) poor English writing :(

Not sure at the mo, Normally they come in Silver, Flat black (as shown) Bronze, And Gunmetall. But that's in standard size..

I will ask them if it's a problem for them to make them in different colors.

Those wheels are gorgeous! Any idea how much they actually weigh compared to standard. They do seem to protrude out further than std!

A friend of mine has asked VX-Performance, And this was the answer.

Front rims: ET20 / 8,4 Kg weight
Rear rims: ET25 / 9,4 Kg weight.

It seem there is some confusion over whether they are 17" or 18"
