It's just electrical tape for the headlights isnt it? I am in Preston for a 10am meeting in the morning so the car will be nice and warm for the track! I am going to fill to the brim with Super or Opti as I get close to the circuit, what are the thoughts on Octain boosters, good thing for the track? New pads on yesterday and can already feel the difference, allong with new DOT5.1 fluid. Will check on oil and coolant at the weekend. VX track jacket is already in the car!!!!!, Helemt will follow soon. Can Not Wait. What time are you driving down Skiddy, If it is just after lunch we could meet up. :groupjump: :groupjump: :groupjump: :groupjump: :groupjump:

closest Optimax (i think) is just off junction 15 M1 - head 1 mile East. You can then carry on to the next island and loop around back onto the A43 to Silverstone (goes under J15A) :P

Just route mapped it with the AA. They guestimate Preston to Silverstone at 3 Hours, so say 2.5 hours on a motorway cruise ;) Which is about right, cause Vexy's parents live up there and it takes us 3.5 hour and we are an hour away from Silverstone and Towcester. SO that work well then, I need to have left Preston by 1.30pm to give a good chance of being there 4.30 ish. Cool. Still cant wait, Poop Poop as one member says!
