Imnotworthy What can you say? It's no wonder he's a pro B) thumbsup Lighting, composition, use colours, depth of field – in fact everything is great. The car is rather nice too! Silver and Storm titanium are great for playing with light – I'm wondering how I'll fare with Krypton green... I may have to invest in something that allows a little more creativity than my old 3.1mp Fuji compact though. Nikon D200 looks very tempting for an amateur enthusiast, but still holding out as there are loads of DSLRs due this year...

Sounds like a nightmare to me. You'll probably get away with bright daylight shots but I rekon most cameras won't be able to cope with the contrast on daker days.

so there's be a few of us up for it. cool. was thinking birmingham - but we'd need somebody local to arrange meet points and somewhere for us all to get a bite to eat and a good local knowledge of how to get around where we'd be shooting. tricky i know. so it might be that manchester would be the safest bet... ??? been having a play with some detail of the gas storage tanks, i think it's a very pretty piece of engineering...

Me possibly location dependant thumbsup Manchester would be ok even though it's a 160 mile trip but a good excuse to use my Derby - Manchester twisty windy vx friendly route :D
Car may be a bit dirty on arrival though

Not trying to be picky but I notice you said the lense was 24-70 earlier, but this exif says 200mm.

Was the 200 from the shots of just the tower, and the 24-70 for the car?

BTW - the colours look lovely
