I have removed 3 per side in front. Should I remove them at rear as well? From Steve Crisp above: Note: - For TOE, a positive value indicates wheels pointing inwards (converging), whilst a negative value is the opposite. This means that the quoted 0,18 is inwards (positive) (I got it from the Speedster forum)

I got rid of all shims, front and rear, the abs sensors-shim included.....unbeatable handling at the track....

Visited a tire shop today and they performed an adjustment of the toe-in, front and rear, because I had installed Eibachs on it. Strangely the camber was different left and right on both front and rear axle!!!! Camber front L/R: -0,7°/-1,3° Camber rear L/R: -2,1°/-2,5° Can the factory values differ that much??

Bet ya that both the camber and castor angles are only set up "fairly close" during build. I can't see them assembling the car, measuring the geometry, and then stripping it all down to move adjusting washers and shims around! Oh, and then remeasure and strip it down again if necessary.. Nah, won't happen. I'm keen to get a reliable guage and do an exact job myself. I can't find any tyre place that will do casor and camber measuring. They all only do toe. Steve

Thanks Steve, seems reasonable. In Sweden both tyre shops I´ve consulted has had computerized equipment with separate sensors applied on each wheel. Just the measurement costs a mere £10 and then the adjustment of toe on all 4 wheels cost me an extra £30. Therefore I think I will perform the camber adjustments myself and verify it with tyre shop measurements. The caster angle was 3.0 and should be 3,5 but I will not adjust this, seems too much work. :o

..and the caster is reduced 0,3° because the front is lowered 30 mm with the Eibachs I realise now  . Looks smashing though :groupjump:
