I might be able to get the brackets to lower the car with the Exige suspension. Watch this space! :)

looks very 'slammed' as westwood would say. How does it handle or is it to wet to give it some.

The roads have dried out - and I did give it some ;) It feels very balanced - no over steer - no under steer encountered when taking some r/abouts and some country roads hard. Like I said before the dampers are so much harder/stiffer than stock giving a harsher ride. But this also makes it handle like its on rails! I have found that there is no roll on corners that I had very noticeable roll in before [reason why I wanted to upgrade]. I am very happy with the new setup but getting all of it done has been loads of hassle, taken loads of time, patience, cut hands, sore knees, and some swearing!!!!! :beat: :tt:

Very ingenious Chris and looks great thumbsup My car is set around 125/135 at the moment on 2-way Nitrons and it looks really low... mind you, that's after it sitting all Winter a couple of feet off the ground on axle stands :D PS My understanding is that the Exige and VXR do have LSS fitted as standard. The only adjustable suspension on both is the Ohlins option.

Sorry Chris, but i prefer it as it was before. :( looks to low now, upseting the lines of the car an generally looking a bit silly. In my opinon of course.

There are adjustable LSS [Eibachs and Bilsteins with the screw adjusters fitted on] available for the Exige - it comes with the super sport pack.

James point taken ;) thumbsup

I quite like how low it is - very race car looking, not too practical though :P

But I will probably raise it in a few months for practicality reasons. thumbsup

I think it looks really cool and I'm glad to hear that drives as well as it looks. A car should feel right for the way you drive so you are confident with it. I liked it before as well!!!! thumbsup

As it was dry - I decided to test out the new setup after work.

To say I was disappointed was an understatement. The rear suspension seemed to settle alot and seemed low! So I took her out and found out I had copious amounts of understeer :o Something that im not accustomed too! ;)

So I made some adjustments and now have the ultimate setup!

Eventhough it doesnt look slammed - this is the best its felt :groupjump:

The Exige suspension is so so so much better than the VX - its very hard but when absolutely winging it around some of the usual corners there was no roll, and I can take them at about 10mph faster than before! Imnotworthy

Im glad to say the S2 Exige suspension has transformed the black beastie! :groupjump:

Here are some MORE pics

Ive changed it since my last post on here! I have now got Eibach prokit springs all round coupled with the Exige front dampers. The front Exige dampers seem to have lowered the front of the VX by and additional 10mm more than before it was lowered on the Prokits with VX dampers - as the exige dampers seem to be 10mm shorter. I sold the rears as they pumped the rear ride height up to std. [as seen in the above pic] Im really happy with the setup - but in hindsight I would have just bought some Nitrons [the money I spent on the Exige stuff and the Eibach Prokits would have nearly matched the Nitrons] People have been very happy with the Spax though [eventhough the built quality is questionable] So..... my advice would be save up and buy some Nitrons - fit them yourself - then get it geo'd. thumbsup

Agreed - you can't beat Nitrons.
