did they ever take a vx220 round the top gear test circuit? Would be interested to see just how it compared, both the NA and VXT, to all the other cars they have taken round. After all, what do 0-60 and top end figures tell us...

I often sit alone and think about this one...
How quick is my car?..
Who can i out drag from the lights?...
Is my
Maybe if i drive around in the winter with my roof off girls will like me?..
Then i pinch myself while saying the words ''im not 17 anymore, that was ten years ago.. and nine inches is plenty big enough, so grow up richy and stop thinking sh*t''

The basic answer is in a straight line the VXT wins but on a very bendy circuit the NA has more grunt out of the corner due to not having turbo lag....
The NA might be better at corners (or it might not) but I doubt "turbo lag" has anything to do with it - never noticed any in mine, put foot down & it takes off.
Drove an Impreza & RS4 twin-turbo on a track day, really noticed it with them, but never with a VX (except for the flatspot, but that's different).

I was more refering to the fact that the NA is a 2.2 and the turbo is a 2.0 so untill the turbo kicks in the NA has the advantage

, but it's plenty fast enough for me

It's always a relief on SCC runs out to see that it can keep up with yours, just about. I always expect you to leave me for dead, because mine's broken or something
