This is a pic of me when younger, I will try and find something more recent but I'm a bit camera shy. OK OK before anyone says anything about the Donald Pleasence similarity, it's been said a million times, in fact my father looks more like Pleasence than me. In a discussion about it the other day my mother said to my father "I don't think you look like him any more" I should bloody well hope not" said my father, "He's dead!"

My parents were flying somewhere on holiday many years ago when the stewardess announced "We have a celebrity flying with us today, Mr Donald Pleasence" (they did that sort of thing in those days) My father never batted an eye and got some free dirinks, not only that, when he disembarked at the airport he signed some autographs!

I'm not sure how true the last bit is, it might just be some hyperbole he applied to the tale to enhance the telling.
