[speedster]

On the Opel Speedster the build number is embossed on the alu dash bulk head.

I'm pretty sure that the Opels have consecutive numbers on their dashes even though there were some VXs built on the line inbetween. For example, whilst my Speedy was number 0811, I think it was build number 1085-ish. So I think in this case, the Speedster number is 4045, but the build number is 5128.

Okay guy's thanks for all the information and pictures - i finally got the alarm fitted and working. Next question - (well two actually..) Has anybody fitted those smart guy wing doors i see advertised - i am very tempted, but need to know a bit more before i go for it.. Also is there any (English) instructions around for changing the LEDS in the Stak Instrument unit... I have the LED's but dis-assembly and what needs doing is best read prior to the event.. Thanks in advance... (BTW - i hear the Rugby was good... )
