Never seen one short enough for my liking - until now!!!

What finishes are availabe? You mention painting, would this be available in satin black and do you know how much painting would cost?
Could it be powder-coated or anodised in black (or other colours) and again, do you have any idea of cost, I'm worried that paint may chip too easily

I'm testing painting version for me and one french member in varnish black from professionnal job.

I will test it on road to see how it work.

In the same time I looking for anodising job but without sucess yet.

So only black or grey version painting could be available yet. Once again, cost depends on quantity interessted in painting but could be around 27£ in this hypothesis (Qty 5 for example)

Painting to be confirmed tomorow.

However due to quantity and to save cost delivery (to be confirmed), I can organize a travel myself with my car for a unique delivery point (or few) near the coast (Newhaven, folkstone or sometihing like that) or professional logitics delivery unique point.

Although other diffusers may be proven to give handling gains, I can't help but be amused by how well an aesthetically pleasing (but unproven.) one sells due to its reasonable price. There is a market out there and a chance for someone to make big bucks selling reasonably priced kit. I don't care how good some of these products are, most VX hop up parts are so OTT on pricing it's unreal. Whats the general opinion on the best type of finish for a diffuser - paint, anodising or powder coating???

i'd be quite interested in gettting one in black (to continue the theme!?) i think if it was just paint it would chip easily, prob gets hit a lot by stones etc, not sure what would be better though for anodising or powder coating?

Powder coating would still be susceptible (sp?) to chips IME. Anodising (done well.) would be ideal as it would give the correct satin appearance. Done badly it can fade quite quickly and is very likely to be affected by cleaning solvents etc. Ill probably give mine a light sandblast to give it an even texture and satin finish, then just do my best to keep it clean.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the diffuser mounts on a bracket above these.

Can't see it having a detrimental effect TBH.
