Me and my blue turbo wil be there on the monday Paul has just confirmed that I have a spot. Just get to wax him the deposit. Well I better go get myself a helmet. The lads at work all ride bikes and said that if their spare ones fit I can use them. Will this be ok?

Bike lid will fit the bill nicely, thats wot most of us use anyway

Would love to mate but I live about 40 mins away up in Tynemouth at the coast so getting home would be a problem. I will be there to meet you (with ya hangovers) at the Travel Inn in the morning. Im gona go register on your pages so I can keep updated.

MY04VXT,

My first e-mail to Paul at 340R was a bit gay. I said things like. "bit edgey over taking the new car" and "you lads are good I wont be made to look like a complete beginer will i?", other things like "I dont want to set the track on fire I just want a couple of safe maps to build my knowledge".

Paul said to stop pissing about and come I will have the greatest day in the car ever . The guys are very experienced while others, like me, are track novices, which means you will get alot from the day. Some of the better lads will gladly show you the ropes to which I will take full advantage of their offers.

Im really looking forward to Monday now. I have my new helmet and CG lock. Like I said I just want to build up my knowledge of these type of events. If you dont go you will never know. And at £70 its a fcuking steal mate. Couple of laps and some great crack for a fraction of the normal cost.

Top day My first track day so i started off by taking it easy/very slowly, but after some coaching by Andy I got into the swing of things and started really enjoy myself I was quite impressed by the teesside venue, very narrow but with a great surface and since its not a very fast track well suited for a novice. Nice to meet Noble and Paul for the first time And thanks to Noble for the lap in the vxt making me Terrible drive home in the wet with no grip at all from my killed front tryes

I had a pop down before work at about 10 and returned at 3 ish I've taken a few photos which I will upload. How much a a beast was that red S1 Exige s Monster.

Cheers Steve, I cant take the credit for the mods! Was a good vx turn out! Was good to meet you guys! I had a fantastic time. Was slightly off the pace in the morning but got on it in the afternoon! Roll on the next one. Noble: lots of us will be on track on the 26th of May if you fancy it. Its a SIDC event. Cheers Ed

Knockhill is a cracking circuit as well - you should come up and say hello to the rest of us ...........we arne't all as excitable as Giggles (aka VXJON) though!
