I used to have an EcoTek valve fitted on my previous car and it definately made a difference to consumption and performance (basically you could rag it harded for same amount of fuel!).

Has anyone had one fitted?

Will it fit?

Is there any reason why it wouldn't improve VX performance/fuel consumption?

I used to drive a golf 16v gti (excellent car) and i was thinking of fitting one on that until a golf magazine did a feature and basically said they were a waste of money and just made stupid noise's.
