What was the big 'bus like? Feel much different to a normal large airliner? More space in the seat?

tbh i didnt think it was much different to anything else i've been on really, apart from you could go for a 5 minute walk and still not be back at your seat! we selected the upstairs seats (2 4 2 layout) so it was a bit less crowded (although 550 is a fair amount i thought!) i didnt think there was anymore legroom than normal, maybe a tad. The business class seats were extremely nice! they even got mood lighting ffs! but the suites took the biscuit, not quite sure they required the £6k price tag.... The one thing i never thought i'd experience on a plane it's size was the horrendous effect of turbulence, but on the way out we dropped a good few feet at one point, and for that weightless split second i'm damn sure a few bum cheeks tightened! I know mine did! Coming home was even worse before we'd even got off the ground... Captain came over the tannoy to tell us the first "2 or 3 hours" would be rough as the flighpath was taking us over a typhoon in taiwan or somewhere or other, great. 2 or 3 hours turned into about 9 or 10, i'd never have thought such a big plane could get chucked about sooooo much. All in all though Singapore Airlines are hard to beat imo, very good service & pretty bloody hot trolly dollies!

lol ah nowt too spectacular a couple of 50m+'s on air to wake me up, most dives were around the 70minute mark. As for losing my buddy we often go our different directions  but mostly always surface in the same ocean... as for talent, there was a distinct lack of it on this trip :tumble: no comparison for the beautiful Ruski's in Sharm :D

Gorgeous isn't it. I was there in 2006 March til August. I did my Padi there. Saw a 1 shark and a puffer fish (which looked so cool deflated) it has huge eyes. As well as the little box fix, tiny yellow one was cool.

I see you were staying in Sairee, its really nice there.

I am going back for thai new year in April gonna do my advanced. And a night dive.

And full moon party B)
