Take it you never had to take the clam off to fit it?Ive just spoke to horizon motorsport and the guy i spoke to reckons its a pain to get the heat shield off without damaging it so they would probably have to take the clam off,£260 to fit it.

no clam off i just cut a straight line through the heat shield to where the mounts go through on each side and folded the shield back there's no other way without taking the clam off then when your larini is in fold the shield back it still dose it's job

Mate of mine was fitting it yesterday but the first bolt snapped off so rather than doing a bodge job hes ordering all new bolts so hopefully get it done early in the week. Was gutted though, was really looking forward to getting it back with the weather being a bit better!Oh well. When i get the miltek cat and downpipe at a later date it should all go on with ease. :)

Looking at the thorney site it looks like £223 for the downpipe and £505 for the cat including vat.I remember a while back some members were interested in the larini, miltek combo so a mini group buy might be an idea thumbsup Had my car back tonight with the back box fitted and oh what a noise!Quiet enough at low revs not to annoy the neighbours but my god put your foot in it and it absolutely screams! You can also really hear the turbo whine when changing gear and a few nice crackles and pops to match!really chuffed with it,worth the wait!Everyone else impressed with theres?

These guys seem to have good prices on the milltek stuff
http://www.awesome-g...ekvauxhall.html.
But surely thorney could better this by a long way seeing as they are the main supplier for the uk and supply these people.

I phoned them guys and they turned round and said they couldnt get the miltek anymore and that thorney are the only suppliers now!Surely not?
