I know Piper have their Z22SE cams and Courtenay are selling Schrick.... can't find any in the TMS shop.... Anybody know of any other cam retailer? (UK or Europe)

maybe try autosprint for regrinds.... if catcams make something for the z22se then id have that over any other cam maker.... they have awesome results in european racing. oh Newman might do something, worth a shout.

Thanks people!

Don't the Shreks require some cylinder head work for fitment?

saab turbo cams are most likely standard cams, they might have a different sprocket to alter the timing slightly. turbo's tend to use very mild cams due to valve overlap issues :) pipercams are cheap and work well, these are your own cams reground / metal sprayed. schrick are double the price, these are new. not much else available 'off the shelf'

Yup! I do. That's my SC build. Am looking for cam for my NA setup. Rather than destorying my NA I might be dropping the SC plant into a different chassis!

Dude reckons the turbo cams are very close to standard but with a longer ramp

back to the NA...

Dbilas have the following cams
Duration: 264
Peak timing: 115/105
Valve lift: 10,8
Lift at TDC: 0,6/1,4
Valve timing (IO/IC - EO/EC) : 17/67 - 57/27

Piper are less aggressive
Duration : 260 deg
Inlet valve lift : .423"/10.74mm
Exhaust valve lift : .423"/10.74mm
Valve timing (IO/IC - EO/EC): 23-63/63-23
Inlet full lift (ATDC) : 110 deg
Exhaust full lift (BTDC) : 110 deg

for N/A road/track use I'd say these were the nuts 4603113 259 / 259° 222 / 222° 10.75 / 10.75mm 1.20 / 1.20mm O.E.M. HYDR: sport although I quite like 270deg cams (but the way catcams list their profiles the 259 is fairly comprable to a piper/kent advertised 260-270deg anyway... 1.2mm lift @ tdc is ncie and safe to not need piston work. cant beat the sould of a solid valve train though chinky chinky

From my notes list I have the following links to companies that seem to sell cams for the 2.2:

http://www.courtenay....uk/default.htm
http://www.dbilas-dynamic.de/

http://www.schrick.com/
http://www.kentcams.com/

Also have all the cams from the above links in a list, which makes it easier to compare. Currently about 50 different cams...

Whats the spec on the Schricks? Got a spare flowed cylinder head lying around in TMS that you'd prep and dump a set in for me?

Any hints as to how madder your thinking of going?

We've got two prepped race heads ready go with Schricks in at the moment, one is due for the TB car. Looking for a longer duration and lift cam at the moment for the race cars but the numbers we're looking at wouldn't really suit for a road car package so I'd still recommend the Schricks.
