it was my first mod. great sound, if you dont have the sport zorst that covers it up.... it will help the engine breathe better, but do not expect ANY gain unless you free-up the exhaust. (you will actually loose some torque with it alone... :D ) I have experimented with stock box and BMC along my free exhaust...actually, with bmc revs up faster beyond 5000 rpms.

Gavin, I tried mine on my VXT in the summer. It does improve mid range power and torque noticably, but the wastegate noise is substantially amplified inside the metallic inlet/carbon air box. It was a bit too noisy for my liking for road use, so I've modified the standard airbox and fitted a Courtenay panel filter. The standard VXT airbox has 2 restrictor pipes, as opposed to the single pipe in the NA, which may account for the better torque increase on the turbo car. It's a 20 minute job to swap over, so I may give it another try at a track day next year. If you like the hisses and whooshes from modified turbo cars, the BMC kit will be right up your street :) Gary

Gary Just got my VXT back from Sanspeed, i've had the BMC Carbon Airbox fitted. It sounds fantastic, lots of induction noise, your right it does amplify the wastegate noise massively, but god I like it. As regard to performance change, the car was rollered before at 238bhp now has 246 BHP. Also Hi spec brakes fitted 4pots + 325mm Disk up front, fantastic!! Gavin

We've got BMC Airboxes fitted to two VXT, no AMM problems to date. John I don't know who the UK dealer is, but ours come from Sanspeed in Bexleyheath, Kent

The main website here lists the UK distributor as Eurostyling International Ltd. www.eurostyling.com

Alternatively, I got mine from Demon Tweeks, might be worth giving them a call.

Is there a certain model to go for? On their website they seem to reference engine size rather than model?
