I'm so sorry for you :( He was a beautiful dog, and looks to have been a real character. When the time's right, perhaps you could find some new company :)

He was a character, used to wake me up by puffing in my face (boxers sigh all the time). When he got ill, we caught it before he started to suffer (which helped). Doubt we will get another dog for years, I think the Mrs is getting broody. Lets hope I don’t have to get rid of the VX. :) The other white dog (sorry not sure what breed) looks like he is having lots of fun.

Japanese Akita bitch.

My parents have just had their 12year old dog put to sleep due to cancer. 2 operations to remove tumors/growths, thought they had beaten it but unfortunately it beat her.

I feel all your pain, to everyone that's lost a pet recently, it's horrible. But at least now they aren't suffering and you can take comfort in the fact that you gave them a fantastic and loving home and gave them the greatest care and love. :grouphug:

Here's my cat Misty.

Sadly, 2 weeks ago I had to have her put down. She was 14 years old and I'd had her for pretty much half my life. She had a tumor which burst and went downhill quite quickly. Stroking her for the last time and hearing her purr and looking into her eyes as the vet put her to sleep was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. :(

Oh don't :o I really do feel for you, and cannot imagine the sadness at losing her - let alone having to make that awful decision. I love my cat sooo much. She looks very beautiful, and I'm sure she had a wonderful life. So sorry :(

Never knew there was a pets corner section!!

Here's one of my little piggies (of the guinea variety) called Ernie (no prizes for guessing the name of the other one)
Was playing with my fisheye lens just after I got it and he was an easy target.

A couple of posts ago I introduced you to my dearly departed Misty and I couldn't go too long without having another cat in the house so say hello to Felix who arrived on Wednesday.

I didn't stop at just getting one either, I picked up his brother as well. Say another hello to Oscar.

Lovely kittens  Mine was with us for about 4 weeks before she had calmed down enough for me to take an non-blury picture.

I can sympathise with that, these two are insane.

They're like Gremlins, once you feed them they go mental for a couple of hours.

Their claws are really sharp as well, tomorrow at work I'm going to have to explain to people that I haven't been self-harming and there's a perfectly good reason why my hands look like they've been fighting with some barb wire.

Not the best picture but it does tell a tale...

My rather ironically named cat 'Turbo'. The irony lies in the fact that she just sleeps all day and only moves from the bed to eat and possibly head outside for a breather. Laziest thing I've ever known...deffo takes after me!

Posted Image

Looking rather unimpressed that I was testing the camera on my new mobile on her...
