Yep :D

He's got used to the lead remarkably quickly (though he still has his moments with it).

The place we're renting has no cat flap and he was very much used to being an outdoor cat at our last place. We'll only be here a short time so we're not going to put a cat flap in (if we were allowed), and I don't agree with shutting him outside for the day and leaving him there until we get back. So he's now a house cat but is aching to go out. This way he gets to go out and doesn't escape at the same time! :P

Haven't used it in a little while as we have been able to let him out a few times now - at weekends when we know we'll be in for a morning or afternoon. I think it helped that we'd walked him on the lead several times before so he was already familiar with the sights and sounds of the nearby area, so I'll be doing that when we move to our new place proper prior to fitting a cat flap.

Turbo and Titch

Posted Image

Pic taken on the first day we got Titch 18 months ago. She'd only seen the inside of a vivarium until then and seems rather shocked to come across a giant. Sadly Turbo died about 3 weeks ago. She belonged to Mrs W's sister and was thought to be in her late 40's. (Turbo that is!).
