Thanks. I had a flash set up on her right firing away from her and bouncing back off a cream wall for a nice diffuse sidelight. They're just taken on a Nikon D70, either using the kit 18-70 lens or a prime 50mm F1.8 (that's about 20 years old!). All the detailed shot info is available somewhere on Flickr if you search for Jase_MK.

It helps that they are all tarts and big up the cuteness as soon as I get my camera out :P

Yep Alfie loves sinks and anything to do with water. For a giggle stick him in the bathroom sink and put the cold tap on and watch him get his face and paws wet as he plays with the water, occasionally having to reverse back up the sink as the slope makes him slide towards the plug hole :D

Nat, sorry but you've just had me in stitches! Picturing this is so funny!
Don't worry, I've had my fair share of cat mishaps. The one that springs to mind is her jumping off her tray with a bit still stuck to her bum and dragging her arse across the floor to remove it  :beat: :o
What would we do without them though

The best one i did was when tinker was little, she had a tick right by her eye, so i called the vets and they said i needed to cover the tick's body with vaseline. so at 10 at night i went upto tesco and bought a tub of vaseline (which was embarassing enough!!).

by the time i got home i had twisted the instructions, i thought the vet had said to cover her body in vaseline......so thats what i did. then i started to think i'm not sure he meant her, but the ticks body. i then put her in the sink to try and remove the vaseline....but its grease and water don't really work well together.

she spent 3 days licking the vaseline out of her fur......god i felt awful!!!!!!

thank god i'm blonde.....thats my excuse!

The girls all went for the chop yesterday. They've all got little squares on their side where they had their fur shaved now (there's prob a lame dirty joke in there somewhere) and are generally pretty out of it from the anaesthetic. Poor little things. We went all soppy parents last night and let them sleep in the bedroom. Bless!

Gunther is not one for staying still hence these pics were shot in low light at ISO1600 so they're a bit flaky, but this is the fluffy Gunther.

Gunther, what a great name for a cat! :D  I think Alfie is a mechanic in his spare time - he came back with engine oil on the end of his ear for the 2nd time a couple of days ago...
