reverse light switch on the gearbox.... near pass side driveshaft on mine has it got a green connector on it?? need one for my megane, and euro car parts lists it as the same part number as the clio 16v.. oh and while your under there have a look at your gear linkage, just opposite where it goes into the g box, does it have an arm with a ball joint on that sits in a white plastic bush??

further research shows theyre still using the same gbox principals on the 182s.. heres a pic showing the plastic bush, the gear linkage should pop out from it (be very careful as theyre not the strongest thing in the world) then its just held in with a circlip can also see the same reverse light switch on there too.

hi mate ye i have taken the engine and gear box out so i should have all them bits, will removing the bush from the gearbox mean i wont be able to sell the gearbox tho is it an expensive part?

i havent a clue mate havent checked at a dealer as my local one has shut down (dixons)

thinking about it... if someone bought the gearbox as a replacement, theyd have that white bit on their gearbox anyway as it appears to be on all the renault rang of boxes from the mid 90's.
but how much for the reverse light switch in the side anyway incl postage
