Bought some Araldite metal glue today as last week I noticed the little black heat shield was working loose...
...anyhoo, went to do it tonight and the bloody things fallen off, so anyone got one spare

Welcome to the club 
I was in the same position......ooh thats loose I'll do something about it before I lose it ........ooops to late.
all I did was tidy up the mesh with some snips and fitted some black safety edge.

Is this the stuff you used
I may see how much Autovaux want for a new 'mesh assembly' but no doubt it will be far more than a tiny piece of folded sheet metal is worth

I think I have two of them spare, any idea what they're worth? The whole lot including mesh is about £50 I think.

I had a response from Autovaux shortly after Munchers reply - £34 + VAT + PostageThe mesh is £76.
