I put the 'uprated' Powerflex mount on the front mount yesterday and after a drive this morning recon its one of best 'cheap' (£20) mods you can do to the car thumbsup

More throttle response, car feels more alive, a little more vibration but not much - less than I expected, and 2nd gear shifts above 5k greatly improved!

Well worth the effort it tkaes longer to take the undertrays off and put them back on again than to do the fit mount!

Where did you buy them from Simba?

Got them from CS

Is the general consensus just to put the uprated bush in the front and leave the rear standard?

I put mine in the rear mount, as the rear one is more substantial, forming part of the rear subframe, compared to the front one bolted to a crossmember/extrusion. Its also nearer the gearbox shifters, and potentially marginally more of benefit than the front one...Posted Image

Thats where I'm getting mine from but Mark from Courtenay informed me about the fire at the factory. I'v been waiting for 2 month for Mark to get them back in so he can send them off along with my plenum and pipework. So have Courtenays actually got these back in stock now?! I'm getting two sets so I can replace both the front and rear at the same time (I don't get why some people are debating which one to replace… for £40 you may aswell replace them both!)

Might be worth trying here as an alternative.
