oh my god 8 years this has been running and still one book and a few more films to do !!!!!
Any way
Here's my safety diver Pete
This is how his spends his time in the tank when he should be keeping an eye on me !

You take your life in your hands when you get in the tank
Camera, Sparks, Defects (should read Effects)
all of them trying to cable tie you to some thing
turn off your air
take off your mask
If your really lucky you get the lot in one go !!!!!
I try to never show my back to any one
good job these boys are there to keep any eye on us kids

If there are any members on here who read these kids books and like the movies
number 6 (the half blood prince ) is gonna be fantastic
I had a walk round the studio and had a look at what is left of the big sets
some pretty cool stuff going on
Have a nice BH weekend
Easy on the GAS pedal

you have a right mad job
out of curiosity do you get many lights that suffer from water ingress and trip out?
No never
once their in their in
If they leak it happens straight away
I've only seen this happen a few times
and this is only when a bleed screw has been left out.
But we did have an exploding 5kw head on another job
gotta say I was right next to it when it went bang
the shock wave and sound were pretty strong !!!!
also we use 30ma rcd's so the units will go very quickly if there is the slightest earth fault
It is the best job I've ever had thou and I'm very lucky to be doing what I'm doing at the moment.
But the job is finished for me now
so it's back to the normal stuff on dry land for a while

It gets a bit like sharm el shits in the tank some times
we shoot against green
then key it out
and the water gives the effect of floating/weightlessness type stuff
in the other shot you can see one of the girls in a green cromakey suit
later she will become some sort of CG creature.
