they look scruffy in my opinion. i have been looking for soem aftermarket pedals though so i am glad that there is a market- i just cant seem to stretch across- probably because i am six foot 4 and my legs are more bent than the average person when driving.

Yep at 6'4" you wear a Speedy... being 5' 7" I do not have the problem. The pic I posted is from a "mule"... the hearsay is that the finished product will be better quality cut via laser. Cheers

I'm only size 10-11 feet, but I found I could quite comfortably position my foot between both pedals and operate both without risk of slipping off the brake. The biggest change for me was I found that the throttle pedal can be removed and the angle of the pedal on the spindle can be altered. About half an hour of fiddling and driving later and the throttle is exactly level with the brake pedal when there is mild pressure on the brake, so it's now dead easy to blip on the downchange B)

I'm 6'4" and I've never had any problem. In fact it's the easiest car I've ever driven to h&t in. More practice required perhaps*? or have you been h&ting for some time and therefore you just need to adjust your technique?

(* no offence meant but for most people the VX is the first car that they've ever "needed" to do this with - I have no idea what your background is).

i practiced my my suzuki truck because i could cope with the speed needed to do it in the vx. i would happily admit that i do not really know what i am doing, when i have achived a blip on the throttle on the downchange the difference in smoothness and breaking efficiency is really apparent. any basic hints would be greatfulyl recieved- if anyone has a book they can reccomend on racing theory that would be excellent.

blah blah

a guide on this would be good

I'll try and do something after work this evening.

It may be you don't need it though. I never had any luck twisting my foot around and using my heel (which i'd always imagined was what you were supposed to do - and what i'd seen on youtube :P ), so I just use the ball of my foot spread between both pedals. You can position quite a big area of your foot on the brake so there isn't any danger of your foot slipping off. It's the first car I've actually done H+T on, but I have tried on others since with no success... The VX220 just seemed so much easier, but I guess it's practice.

Tat - they look great imho B) one quick question - do these use the same mounting holes as the standard pedals? i.e. unscrew the existing pedals and screw these on as direct replacements?

That 's the meaning of course.

Direct replacement ! Yes these use the same mounting holes as standard of course !

In the same time, the design is developped to help the technic which consist to throtle between gear changing.

By the way, pedals and screw these on as direct replacements AND small plastic bumper too (not necessary to add it or to buy new. So not delivery with it)
