Scandal green was offered on the S1. Krypton Green is an S2 "Lifestyle" option – (is very difficult to get it right when respraying apparently – have to add pearl to the clear coat) costs considerably more metallic.

There is now a new name again, Isotope Green – not sure that it is actually different, though some say it is duller, some say it is paler, some say it is more yellow, some say it doesn't change in the light like KG. You'd have to see them side by side. I've not, yet:

Any 'mad' colour like krypton, orange or that lush Renault yellow would be spot on - all with black wheels. If ever I have an unfortunate incident with mine then it's going from silver to orange.

If your going for a white go for one as white as possible not the off white magnolia colour of the mini. What you really want is a fresh crisp white, Ford transit white would be a good choice

The Plans white car is a photoshop I think ? and there are a few euro race cars in white I never claimed to be the first to have a white VX there is also a white one with white wheels in St Albans I think and one of the tuners used to have a white track car I just hate it when people by the same trainers as me :) Good luck with what ever you choose to do to your car ( Anything is better than RED ) :gayfight:

Falling madly in love with the liquid yellow. Just out of interest ... and checking wife not standing behind me ... what does a full respray in that cost?

It's nearly a £700 extra if you buy an ST whereas the other metallics are approx half that.

Yes its a 3 stage process, base coat, then the pearl(thats the hard bit) then clear...
Thats true guy, st organge is sprayed over a orange base, mine was done over red as i wanted a deeper orange end result, which i achieved but now when it comes to matching it is where im going to come unstuck! Hense why i think it may be better to do a full respray rather than pi$$ing about trying to match the colour etc.

What about seat kiwi green...

renault liquid yellow (and petrol blue) was also a large premium over standard metallic/pearls on 182s

o.k so I had 20 minutes at work....so I decided to mess around on photoshop. Personally I favour the metallic as they compliment the angular surfaces, I also prefer keeping the wheels metallic as black wheels seem to under-wheel the car and make the already short body more stumpy (technical term there) so I have done a few ideas mainly metallic...I like the burnt gold proposals. Most of them probably aren't to people’s tastes but I am going to show them anyway!
