The sub install looks v nice. Whats the shiny thing above the sub?
Also, what gauges do you have fitted under the dash - were they easy to install?
shiny thing is fire extinguisher gauges are water temp and oil pressure fairly easy to fit . i have spair oil temp and oil presure and volt gauges if intrested.
done install myself

who trimmed dash, binnacle etc bit OTT especially red on facia plates... sorry...Nice steering wheel though..
What is it with subs at the mo?!? WHY!?!? Im all for tunes but in a VX with roof off... boom boom boom... its just wrong.. sorry.. the car makes a big enough statement as it is with out having to have " look at me " big bass etc..
I have a decent sony / mp3 set up with upgraded speakers and find with the roof on its more than enough.. when i have the roof off i tend to turn music down anyway , simply because i feel abit of an idiot, with everyone hearing my music.. its for your own space not everyone elses i say..

If you're out in the sun, driving down empty country lanes, there's nothing wrong with some loud choons. I agree you shouldn't force everyone else to listen when you're in built up areas though.

Leevx2.2 - I have been thinking about a VXT but at 6'5" space is an issue - can I have your wisdom about the steering column mods you have made - Is it possible to fit a spacer and/or snap on boss still using the original steering wheel? If so would the airbag be safe/functional?
I would be making the mod for space rather than looks but a smaller wheel would also help me I think.
Just interested in my options and techieboy very kindly linked this thread in my newbie one
