Have just spoken to Christopher Neil Lotus in Northwich, they are expecting a delivery in tomorrow (been on back order for about 3 weeks), apparently had loads of orders / interest from vx owners. Anyone else waiting for a delivery from them? My to do list keeps growing......when i think im near the end of the list something else will always crop up, i dont think the list will ever end tbh!

When you replaced the seal did you have to alter the tension of the soft top at all? Cheers chinky chinky

No, it didn't need it - the front cable was very tight

If yours seems loose then it's worth doing that before splashing out on new seals :)

BOLLOCKS!! :angry2:

Didn’t work! just had a heavy down pour, had a look in the car and there was a great big puddle on the sill!
it seems to be coming in behind the flap below, any ideas how/why and how to fix? do I just plaster the whole thing in silicone? seems a waste of £140 if that’s the case as I could have done that with the old seals!
Sorry for crap phone pic:

Mandarin, Did you achieve total dryness by just fitting the seal with the cups, or did you fit the others too?

I still haven't fitted the other parts - just the main top seal, and still keeping dry thumbsup Aron - I did put a little 'ball' of black sticky gunk where the cup starts at the top of the screen - if you look from the top with the roof off you can see that where the cup part starts there is a place where the water could pool and go under the seal rather than over it

Thread resurrection :) I assume that part A116V0273F is still the one to go for? I'm wanting to replace my front seal on my 03 NA, it doesn't have the turbo seals etc. Cheers, Lee.
