Well at 7am i will be leaving Bristol and going through wales across to liverpool, up to carlise, the inverness then up and up!
So i will be expecting to see some people along the way!

Probably too late - but whatever you do, avoid the A9 from perth to inverness...............a horrible horrible road. And watch out for tourists who are concentrating more on the scenery than the road

There are some great roads up in the Highlands but watch out for deer. We go to Scotland regularly but normally fly as I cannot face a 12 hour drive in the VX !!

Ironically my cat just came in from outside, miaowing her head off just as I was reading your post! I hate ebay. I do not have the personality to deal with their nonsense, or that of punters who just love to screw you about. Turns out, after ages doing a write up for ebay, that my paypal account had been closed because of fraudulent acitivity carried out by someone else in my name! That's the message that paypal shot up on the screen anyhow. I've no information to suggest it but the knock on effect was that i couldn't list because i'm an inexperienced ebayer and they must have paypal accounts to sell! d'oH!

Anyway, why is Mark going to Scotland? Seems a bloody long way to drive.
