To visit a man friend he met whilst on holiday in Brighton thumbsup

Oh yeah?! I sense a bit of Brent-tastic "Free love on the Freelove freeway" coming on...

Posted Image

"Pretty girl on the hood of a Cadilac, yeah....
She’s broken down on freeway nine.
I take a look and her engine’s started,
I leave her purring and I roll on by....bye bye"

All together now...

"Free love on the free love freeway,
The love is free and the freeway’s long...
I got some hot love on the hot-love freeway
I ain’t going home cos’ my baby’s gone"...

Oh-ho-ho, somebody stop me!

"I leave her purring and I roll on by....bye bye"

If i can make some suggestions - don't go to Perth, go to dundee instead and then head up over the caringorms towards Royal Deeside (south west of aberdeen). You'll pass the ski resorts and the views and roads are amazing. You can then head over towards aviemore and then up to inverness - the A9 perth to inverness is a hideous hideous road and should be avoided. Likewise at this time of year Inverness to Fort William is FULL of tourists and if you're goign for a blast you'll get very frustrited. For more fun head from INverness out-towards Kyle of lochalsh and then look for the turn off for Applecross. Then go south towards Glasgow / Ayrshire from there. I'll dig otu some pics of applecross and the surrounding area tonight - you REALLY dont want to miss that. EDIT : A night out in Kilmarnock? Are you nuts? Glasgow would be a MUCH better bet

:yeahthat: Kilmarnock? learn to say haw hee haw while rocking back and forwrd with your arms outstretched and you'llbe fine. Otherwise don't bother, head to the weege (Glasgow) thumbsup Scott.

The three places you NEED to visit are now on the map.

Spittle of Glenshee on the A93

Lecht Ski Resort - AB36 8YP on the A939

If you go to Dundee from Edinburgh you can then head up into the hills for glenshee, then the lecht, then over to aviemore and onto inverness - MUCH more interesting than the A9. You're basically going up through the cairngorms past all the ski slopes. AMAZING views.

When you leave Inverness i'd seriously recommend going to applecross for lunch and then heading south from there - the pub is BRILLIANT and the pass is awesome

will find some pics of recent runs
