Speakers And Stereo Upgrade

I think its about time I upgraded done abit of a search but just wondered what is the stuff I should get. I want a cd player with ipod connections and want to be able to use the ipod through the stereo. Also want some speakers. Im not that good with understanding the different out puts for speakers etc so need some help. want to get the best I can but dont want to spend a great deal no more than £200 for stereo and maybe £50- £60 on speakers. chinky chinky

Thats what i would do, i mean you can spend more on the H/U but to be honest the VX wont have the best sound stage to make the most of it

ok but can you use the stereo to search through your ipod to find songs albums you want to play?

Yep but its much easier to un plug it and search on the ipod and plug it back in

I have one of these well a similar one mine is possibly a year old now.

I got the ipod cable for it and it works a treat, mine came with a remote too.

I know im not that good with stereo equipment but ive never really heard of them before?

Should be find, but to be honest i have never removed them.

They are a standard size 16.5 cms. can also fit 10cm speakers in the front in the airvents :D gives better all round sound. Scott.

The standard speakers in the na are 16cm took them out on the weekend. 16.5 should fit fine just make sure the magnett is not to deep (back half of the speaker) i think you have room for about 50mm I just bought some 13cm pioneers because the 17cm ones didn't fit as the sub i have gets in the way :rolleyes: but you can also get 17cm ones in if you make the speaker hole slightly bigger.
