As from today I'm officially member of the de-precatted Speedy's. (VX NA) It took me about 2h30 to remove the precat. And to polish the precat chamber untill it was as smooth as the ass of my daughter when she was just born You never know what it is good for.
I made use of the occasion to replace all the rusted bolts by new ones, and refix them with the aid of heat resistant grease. I also took the lambda sensors out and refitted them with the same grease.
From the last sensor the heat insulation was crumbled under the heat of the exhaust. A little bit longer and the plastic around the wires was gone making short circuit. So check it out. It can save you the purchase of a new sensor.
