That looks like a "cracking" repair Chris! Your input is much appreciated. The crack is worse than I originally thought, it runs all the way towards the rubber seals so I may need to pull them back to get at the full damage. I'm heading off to Norway for just over a week so it's going to be a while before I can make a start but I'll post pictures of my progress when I do.
