Not yet - usually do carron valley with some of the SE boys as it's nice and quiet and a bit nearer.

In saying that i did 33 miles yesterday on a variety of mainly flat stuff and I'm really really really feeling it today :(

ah never been there. You need to do Glentress. We usually do a mix of the Blue and Red routes. The Black route with its North Shore stuff is a bit beyond my bravery, ewok villiage and all that. Must go back this winter. chinky chinky

apart from waiting 20 mins for the screen to clear the VX doesn't really phase me in the winter. Having a shed or GF's car with a cosy heater is bloody tempting though. :gayfight: poof

top tip. if the screen is frozen on the inside, use a KFC or maccy D's paper bag all scrunched up to get the ice/water off. the rough edges work a treat, the paper absorbs the water and any grease in the bag stops the water forming again lol

Another vote for winter trackdays. Much cheaper than in the summer and a lot of people simply don't turn up if it's raining so they're quiet. Maybe just me but I think the pace difference between the VX and other general road cars is even more marked in the wet and/or cold, on a smooth surface they really can find a lot of grip, unlike on the bumpy, potholed roads! First winter with the VX, it'll be nice to not freeze my arse off at trackdays like I did in the caterham!

Yeh I remember that noise. Not been to the 'fun' park since they changed it. which tells you how long since I've been there..... great day out though :D . I love the downhill stuff on the red route. Then down to The Hub for some mac n cheese :D Is the World Champ downhill course at Fort William open to us punters? or does some of it double as paths for ramblers?

If I can get holiday - skiing or boarding. The same as in summer though apart from the above - gym, running, walking the dog, horse riding ... The seasons bare no grounds on my attempt to stay healthy and trim :)
