Just had some great news today! Vauxhall have said it was them that fitted the headlight from new and are replacing it. I don't know how they found out but i am relieved. I can only think it might be a known problem on a certain number of cars, if anyone else thinks they may have a dodgy headlight it might be worth following up. It took a bit of nagging as they took no notice of me at first but it looks to have paid off. Thanks for all your comments guys.
