?? What's going on there then?

Don't think much of the caption writer either - I give you "Lacetti cornering", "Lacetti driving" and "Lacetti at the beach"...

Panic sell now before the public get to hear about it. Forget about residules what residuals. The vx is meant to be Vauhalls showcase car so I cant see them putting that badge on it in GB or Europe.

I've got a daewoo nexia as a runabout. Poxy thing is a vauxhall astra mk2 in disguise with a build quality worse than my vx! I don't think it was designed to do more than 50,000 miles without falling apart. To say that daewoo has got their hands on the speedster design is a little suprising but I suppose what other GM dealers are there around the far east?

It does say 'concept car', so one has to hope / assume that it'll only be used to stir up interest in Daewoo and GM's involvement in the future. Folk in Australasia probably have no idea that the Speedster/VX220 exists, so this superb design will come as a surprise to them. I must keep telling myself this! :)

The cuts in the Daewoo design department must be biting hard. For their next concept car they are going to create an image of the sort of executive car they want to manufacture in the next ten years. Just leg it down the BMW showroom, buy a 7 series, lever the badges off, break out the blu tac and - hey presto - instant concept car.

I know that. What was I going to use as an example of a GM executive car? An Omega?
