the real question is how much max duty cycle do you want to run the injectors

personally, I'd see 70% as the limit..... but thats just me lol

and scope to add extra fuel should the cooling be desired comes from where?

I run injectors at 100% duty all the time at work and they function fine etc but then the engines are hooked up to just a bit too much instrumentation to let us know about any issues.... would hate to even consider running an unmonitored engine at much over 70-75%, but again thats just me and my over protective mechanical sympathy I have

ok saying that at 90 % there making a lot of power. & thats at high revs so they dont spent & lot of time up there. & if the boost is on a lower setting then not at all. walshy what sort of power are you after. D

of course only takes one injector to degrade over a short period and suddenly your not delivering the same cc's that the ECU thinks it should, and then = bang hole in your standard OE sand cast piston. how many people run their stage 2's on 95ron ( emergency's excluded ) , det det det

I'd say that was more a poor calibration than anything else lol

Several very highly qualified race engine builders I have spoken to have estimated the max safe sustainable power at around 320-330 hp. This is dependant on not increasing the engine revs too much beyond the standard limits. It's basically a bullet proof block & head! MaxR
