Light weight , track use only, the UK supplier (now gone bust AFAIK) said you have to sign a disclaimer before fitting :o

Yeah, I've seen the remark too... "Not for highway use. Only Track!" on moto-concept.de, not to sure what to think of it :glare: :

Is it likely to stress your wheels more on public roads than on track?? :tumble:
The DTC's are used in tourwagen races and it's very doubtfull that these team would take a risk of failing rims :

When I purchased mine from a German supplier, I received a TUV approval document (German legal requirement for anything you change on the car when using on public roads) No disclaimer had to be filled in. And I'm not trying to justify my purchase! :D

There are quite a lot from the German and Dutch forum using them atm. but so far no horrible stories about failing wheels have reached me. They should be alright. It might be worth sending ATS a message for clarification....

I think the reason their not meant for road use are things such as large pot holes or similar...

That is not true,
there a lot of guys in Germany using these rims. Never heard of any damage.
Tuv approval documents are availabe for several cars.
There is a 15'' rim also availabe for the vx.

Ask Karsten Dempert for the right offsets...

Cheers, I'll go ask.

This is the email I got from the ATS supplier;

Dear Mr. Freed,

we have the wheels in our head office in Germany in stock. I think you will get the wheels in beginning of next week.
Kindly note that the rims in PCD 5x110 are only in follow offsets available:
7,5x17 offset 35 / 9x17 offset 30.
To get an offset of 20mm in the front you will need a 15mm wheel spacer per side!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Kindest regards

Joe
