I have also changed my rear sidelights/taillights for LED they go brighter faster and are brighter at all times, the only problem is that the high level brake light is always running at a very low level, less than braking brightness but something i can see will need to be sorted for mot time.

Yeah something not right there, start with the simple stuff ;) prob ome poor conection / water somewhere on the loom.

Main beam HID's are great. For flashing people mine are fine, there's more than enough instant light for them to know they've been flashed.

Well I fitted the front bulbs tonight - WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! Started with the side indicators which tbh is hard to tell any major improvments, with the bare bulb showing the flash is a lot whiter. Got some before and after pics so maybe that will show some differences New front indicators not only look a hell of a lot better than the fired egg version before do seem to have a brighter flash. Main beam is a differnet league - in shock at just how good they are! Full beam is def stronger than beofre but have lost the wow factor to the hids - kind of wonder if I should have tried hids for the main beam also :D Will get some pics up tomorrow and also do the rear bulbs Thats all for tonight - I am a happy little boy

Cheers guys :D:D:D lol exhaust is just about right for a stealth car lol Will upload some pics tonight when I get home, changed the rear lights this morning and hard to tell a massive difference (only looked the once lol, oh and took pics) maybe next time I am next to a vx with normal bulbs - It may be easier to see next to each other. I am still happy as in my little mind there are good quality bulbs in place I did notice this morning in the fog more people moving out my way than normal - added bonus (and adjustment of beam was not required, so its not that)

Well, as I got the blame for starting you off down the route of replacement bulbs, that you can see the improvement and are happy. Result. :D

Sorry to hijack this thread, oh and I have searched! Probably going to go for same as Duncan VXR for the H7 full beam but for those of us who haven't done HIDs what upgrades are being used for dipped headlights (H1). Cheers chinky chinky Sticky

Kip said he had tried all sorts and found very little difference. I would say from seeing the Extreme H1 bulb compared to std that would be a ood starting point but at £30 for a set and Hids £44 there really is not much in it. Must upload some pics - sorry guys :(
