Hi. Sorry to revive this thread, but going through the same ordeal as you.. but seems I have a few more gaps than you did
you say x2 4 and 6 are +12v to power ecu? they are the same colour which makes sense.. but then what is x2-1?
and what are the rest? :)

cheers, Richard

X2 - Blue
1. Relay ECU BN/PK
2 . Ins/Start/Charge WH/BK
3. unknown BN/RED
4. unknown BK/RED
5. 10A Fuse FB7 GN
6. unknown BK/RED
7. unknown BN/PK
8. Relay - Fuel Pump WH/VT
9. INS (elabotate?) GN/BU
10. n/c
11. n/c
12. Relay ECU (related to 1?) GN/PK
13. Engine Cooling (fan) BU/GY

X3- Black
1. Pedal pin 1 YE
2. Pedal pin 2 GN
3. Pedal pin 3 BU
4. Pedal pin 4 BK
5. Pedal pin 5 WH
6. Pedal pin 6 BN

X2 pin 1 = bn/pk (pin 87 of relay K18, +12v for fuel injectors) pin 2 = wh/bk (instrument - rev counter) + (start relay K24 pin 9) pin 3 = ? pin 4 = ? pin 5 = gn (+12v FuseBox 7) pin 6 = ? pin 7 = ? pin 8 = wh/vt (+12v for relay coil, pin 85 - fuel pump relay K16) pin 9 = gn/bu (instrument - coolant temp gauge [pulsed signal from ecu]) pin 10 = n/c pin 11 = n/c pin 12 = gn/pk (0v for relay coil, pin 85 - ECU relay K18) pin 13 = bu/gy (0v for relay coil, pin 85 - radiator fan relay) X3 pin 1 = ye (throttle pedal) pin 2 = gn (throttle pedal) pin 3 = bu (throttle pedal) pin 4 = bk (throttle pedal) pin 5 = wh (throttle pedal) pin 6 = bn (throttle pedal) pin 7 = n/c pin 8 = bn/bu (instrument - oil pressure light) pin 9 = wh/ye (immobiliser) pin 10 = bn/bu (instrument - engine management light) pin 11 = ye/gy (ABS pin 3 - speed signal for engine ecu) pin 12 = n/c pin 13 = vt (+12v FuseBox )

my 2.2 m32 conversion is fine, well worth the hassle and expense, but my raised engine rpm means I need the holy grail of M32 gearboxes and they are hens teeth :angry2: I used lotus driveshafts and made my own linkage - which is perfect thumbsup you can use astra 2.0 turbo or 120 cdti M32 driveshafts [NOT VXR or 150cdti], but they are extremely popular with the astra owners

I bought a vectra M32 final drive WR 3.65:1, then fitted the astra vxr internals making it a WR 3.94:1, the corsa vxr has WR 4.18:1 and the holy grail is a CR 4.18:1

I will probably have to buy a brand new CR 4.18:1 gearbox as the car is quite rare and I haven't found a single one being broken for spares :angry2:

clutch was a pain, but it's now sorted. Courtenay flywheel, Helix hybrid clutch plate (you could use a M32 clutch plate), standard cover and standard M32 slave cylinder with a 15mm spacer.

I'm hoping Jon can sort a new M32 flywheel to do away with the 15mm spacer, I need to give him another call.

again, a big thanks to Vocky for all the help he gave me with getting a grip on the wiring issues. will buy you a beer or 2 if i ever get to meet up. i too made a gear linkage & all seems to be fine, i just need to fabricate some sort of decent reverse gate. just a note regarding the drive shafts though, you can indeed use CDTI shafts, like i did, but you will need a 10mm spacer for the carrier bearing as it locates in a different place on the 2.0 Turbo petrol engines. i had to have one made up, was only £15 though from a retired engineer i use. if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask, i'll try help if i can......
