Fair play, look forward to hearing you unrestrained points of view John. The conspiracy theorist, geek, sometimes hypocritical drivel I read on here from time to time about TMS have various reactions from a roll of the eyes to a belly laugh or just chuckling and saying p*ss off at the screen. Would be good to hear the otherside of the story. I think some of it is born out of a vacuum of real information which you speaking up will help. It reminds me alot about the nonsense I hear about the running of oval racing scene, real lack of a voice for the organisers about anything leaves people to just start making nonsense up and the sheep follow 'baaaing' along behind others not really knowing what they are complaining about but feeling part of something. Then it just becomes cultural and its hard to go back from there. Being a bit closer to it [oval racing]over the past few months I realise most of the stories are just pish and in the background there really are people working hard and caring about whats going on. Taking knocks on the chin daily and fire fighting allsorts of crap before they can even start to unfold their ideas for the future of their passion. Things don't always go right in any sport, business, project or even life in general. I think people who moan about JT owning the site are really missing the point of how great the site really is, what information lies within, the people and the carry on. It really amuses me that literally any question could be asked in off topic and and before long an educated well thought out answer will come along. How many forums have a community like that? All the best for you John and thanks for this site and your contributions to it. I would however like to take this opportunity to call VXJON a dick.

Muncher, makes no difference to me mate, site isn't mine anymore, but your abuse of the process is one of the reasons I've sold it, it gets tiring talking to people who are just full of it when it comes to enterprises like this. As regards your 'return' well sorry mate, I know what you were making on the roofs and to suggest its 'covering your costs' is both laughable and insulting. There is nothing wrong with making a profit, but be honest about it. As regards the Sprint bootlid, well I asked to borrow it and Stuart Harris (Vauxhall) said fine so long as it wasn't damaged which it wasn't. So there is a World of difference on how we treat people.

John, you cannot possibly know all of the costs I incurred, or any losses which I made along the way, such as a whole batch of roofs for the Elise which were incorrect, but paid for and the supplier buggered off overseas.

Your last sentence makes no sense whatsoever, I know exactly the circumstances of you borrowing the lid and I never insinuated there was anything underhand about that at all. How is there a world of difference in how we treat people? I am pretty confident there won't be anyone on here, or anywhere else who has felt short changed, aggrieved or missled by me at any time.

Everyone has their own opinions on who they would like to deal with based on informed opinions, I'm not interested in any character assassinations at all, it's futile, for that reason I just keep quiet and go to Courtenays.

The fact you lose koney at something because things go wrong does not suddenly mean you're doing it for the good of members, you're doing it to make money, the fact you werne't successful at it does not mean its not commercial. As I said, I dont care anymore nowt to do with me but at least accept what it is you were/are doing, then carry on, who cares.

This one of the best threads I've read on here

proper school boy stuff

I'm a Dick and so's my wife !!!!

Thorney your a dick

Maybe some people are just better at doing things than others
and these people have built a reputation for doing so

Muncher I would guess would knock out this carbon fibre product and make a profit
but his over heads are probably lower than that of TMS and his product would be cheaper I guess
and therefore would move more units.

Unless you have a patient on something you can't really complain about it being copied
China would have shut down as country if it hadn't been for cheap copies.

Can I just say this .......

DICK.

lol, there's some pretty hideous images in there. :) Remember the point of this thread, all I've said it that it seems a bit unfair to openly ask for one of ours to copy to make your own to make a profit thats all, I've not gone out and tried to stop him. The process just seemed a bit cheeky thats all.
