You could actually tweek the actuator to get a little more boost as it takes one of the biggest restrictions out of the system

Mine arrived today - Thanks Very well made piece of kit, way better than the POS casting that was there before!!! Fitted in minutes, the hardest part was getting the hose off the old Tophat Pulled 'fuse 8' for 20 min and went for a quick blast, the car definatly pulls stronger, feels smoother, and - not that I have any before data to check - seems quicker! So cheers Rich for a well designed and well made product, and one I'd definatly reccomend to all *Edit* Boghouse - I've the same map as you so no worries there

Thanks to Richard I now have a new shiny lump of metal on the engine Probably just placebo, but it feels like it is a touch more responsive than before, and makes a few more noises! Will see if I notice this on a more prolonged non motorway hoon tomorrow Still want to put it back on an RR, but I have nothing comparable as the CS4 was done on a hot day in summer, and I won't be going to Norfolk just for a Dyno run! Thanks for taking the time out to fit for me (even if it was only a few minutes). Chris eta: I didn't bother to pull the fuse, but I've driven almost 50 miles since so should have learnt the new flow by now

What is fuse 8 for??

Its the fuse to the battery. Leave it out for 15-20mins and it will reset the ecu, the ecu will re-learn things like air fuel ratio getting the best out of the new modification.

Whether it gives any real benefit i guess is debateable, but worth it for the 3secs it takes to remove the fuse

But it doesn't affect any re-maps you've had installed (so I hear)

different type of memory reset, so won't affect any maps you've had put on. The car 'should' learn the new differences anyway, so fuse reset is not a must do
