In the meantime, wrap a bit of duct tape around existing pins a few times. Not as pretty as shiney new pins but rattle free....!

To fit them, duct tape down all the washers around the base of the pin. Undo it nice and gently and re screw in the new ones. Inside there is a captive nut that can drop back and stop the new bolt screwing in. If this happens, get a small piece of wire and make a small hook on the end. Use that to pull the captive nut back to where it should be and use a small amount of loctite glue to hold it in place then screw in the new bolts. The reason I have written this is that until I did this job I had been told all sorts of horror stories but it really is simple and makes a big difference. Did mine in 20 minutes (I lost a captive bolt and had to pull it back and was very wary when starting), but did a freinds in 5 minutes Saturday. Martin s

Thanks for that JG. I do have about 15 pairs left at £16 inc P+P. I also inquired about getting more made should I run out, unfortunately the new quote is £22 each based on 50 pairs, I no longer have the buying power via work (redundancy) to get them made very cheap so when these are gone thats it I'm afraid. PM's recieved.
