Over the last few weeks i've been having problems with the car. ( sorry long story) It's an early TMS stage 4 and recently under hard acceleration 3rd and 4th gear the car would misfire badly and eml would come on making car undrivable. Switch off and back on it would reset and be fine until another blast. been doing this with several fill ups so no old fuel. Local dealer mechanic had a look and fault was no.4 plug misfire. Reset faults change plugs arround and still the fault came back. Replaced coil pack and plugs and same fault came back. Put old coil back on and same same. Phoned Thorney and without seeing or hearing car ( and i never had prober fault codes) recommended changing the AMM. Friday night put on spare AMM and car was running ok under load no eml or misfiring but wouldn't run smooth over 5000rpm and felt sluggish. Left car to cool before tucking it away before hillclimb event in the morning. Car sounded like a tractor for a couple of mins then went quiet. Couldn't see anything much apart from what looked like a small crack between 1 and 2 on the turbo manifold. It was late and getting dark so left it to see how it would get on over the weekend. Car still sounded rough on initial cold start but would then sound fine within 2-3 mins. Then it started to misfire while doing the event, idles smooth revs smooth when stopped but as soon as it was under load would misfire but no eml. checked plugs ect but nothing noticeable. was the same on the way home would run fine until some hard accelorating then it would misfire and still no eml. Would the cracked manifold cause it to misfire/not run smooth? Cheers Martin
