Can you post a pic of those subframe creases?
The tie-rod mount points are your rear bearing pivot points, so best seems to just tie the 2 towers together...

you can bend the subframe whacking the car with std tie rods, they don't always fail,. whichever you use it is very easy to transfer the force to bend the wishbone and the subframe. :rolleyes:

:lol: just pointing out that the subframe can be bent with either original or uprated parts, its not black and white as to what will fail if you bin it

It's a sensible solution without recourse to a fully triangulated setup.
The brace kit helps eliminate lateral motion of the arms in respect to each other and it also transfers loads across both sides which will increase the total force required before subrame deformation and therefore increase the possibility of a of the toe-link failing before this point is reached.

Bit cold here at the mo to be stripping the trays off and I'd have to dig round it first. (theres a car in the mound of snow somewhere). When it thaws I'll ost some. Look like crescents about an inch in from the toe link mounting point.
