The height is the ride height, floor to chassis. I thought.

Thats a good ride height as thats what mine is set too. In terms of settings for the shocks, you ideally want to back harder than the front its more trail and error though. dont assume (which some people do) turing them to fully hard is going to make the car handle better as you will be working the spring against the damper unit meaning they wont be able to fully do there jobs. Start in the middle setting on the rear and say 5-6 on the front and see what that gives you. Also make sure braking is not affected as the car should still be able to roll onto the front wheels as it normally would from side to side. (bodyroll is not always a bad thing as its a smooth transfer of load from one wheel to the next) Any questions then give me a shout, ideally it would be handy to set them up on a OPL track day. I am sure Steve will help me out if i have got anything wrong chinky chinky

The adjustment collar at the bottom is for damper bump & Reboung stiffness not ride height. Mine are currently set to 5F 3R but I have the uprated ARB and different springs. I used to run 9F 8R for road and 2F 1R track. The way bump and rebound works is, set them to 10F 10R and drive it hard. If it understeers stiffen up the rear, if it oversteers stiffen up the front. Keep playing untill the balance is right.

Do sachs have the rebound adjuster at the bottom, under the lower spring collar?

Fab, winding the top collar down will increase ride height, winding up will lower the car. The springs are stiffer than the bilstein setup so start by setting your sachs to be roughly the same length then experiment. Lowering a little at a time until you get the right ride height. Quicker if you can find a way to adjust the collar without taking the wheels off. There might be room above the wheel to fit a skinny arm in otherwise you may have to reach up between the wishbones - make sure the car is raised on a good jack!

The height is the ride height, floor to chassis. I thought.

Duh, stated the obvious
Try compressing the spring to 125mm

Fabrice.... Did they arrive today..? Hope so. As a starting point, just mount them as they are. They were set really low on my car, so they might be a good setting once mounted on yours. I included a c spanner for you to adjust them yourself. Any issues, giv me a shout.

ok started at 8.00 and had a full garage with professional tools  at my disposal
finnish at 10.30 and wasn't a easy job specially the front one with little access du to the brace bar
use plenty copper grease spay  and some bike cam chain oil for other bits
i have measured from the front and rear bottom fiberglass arch and will need to check again after they bed in
geo booked this week as well
one little problem the car steering is vibrating lighty at 70 mph so i think i will need to rebalance them again as this set up is more direct

did 117 driver side and 116/115 at the front
same version at the rear 127/125

i haven't seen any speed bump yet and that will give me a good reason to slow down :D

seems a little low fab and ideally you want the measure from the chassis and not the fiberglass. I dont get any rubbing

Slow down  You'll be stranded  If the tyre is rubbing slightly, it might be worth raising the car a bit?? Apparently front tyres are becoming rare :o

:yeahthat:

You need to measure from the metal chassis further underneath the car but just about where your arrows are.
