I would get them to set it before you have your geo

i know that james

now the correct way to mesure is from the center of the wheels (caps off) to the bottom part of the wheel arch (old school i know but more accurate i suppose) as the chassis is never 100% accurate
any one with sachs or gaz could measure for me please so it will save me working harder

thanks
free vx parts or good discount  lucky for me joe is away

That rake is spot on tho, if you raise the front make sure you raise the back the same ammount.

Chassis is a lot more accurate than taking a measurement off any part of the body. There are way too many variances in the alignment of a clam and the way it fits to any particular car to trust those measurements. I can't remember for sure, but I think Back-on-Track set my front ride height to 95mm (which is too low for comfort) and it looks like I have more clearance between the tyre and the wheelarch. Granted I'm running 16" fronts but I'd definitely raise the car by a few mm's if I were you.

if you have the undertray off, then you can measure from where the main side beam and subframe join , this should be the same beam end at the front

ok after 3 hours spent this morning for fine tuning  and removing those wheels so many time
those sachs are set up finally
having used so much cooper grease my passenger bolt was loose that's why the steering was wobbly B)
all links have been grease ... i did use coma heavy duty spray grease and spray cooper grease very good stuff
the thread on the sachs are so fine i did find it hard to adjust without swearing
now will let them settle down and will have a good spirited drive tonight and in the morning before a full geo :D
the front is totally transform and the breaking pedal is more heavy to use and abs off and the car dive nicely without any problem and straight

really need to track :D it now and should do to fully appreciate the setting of my rig ;)
so watch out for crazy.............................and those itb"s
and on the track it isn't the power who is always the best
a very well set up car will make very good laps :D
