the master cylinder is I believe from the vectra and they are prone to fail when bleeding the clutch, so if the pipe doesn't fix it it might be worth swapping the mc

Thanks to Theo for the offer of pipe and mc but managed to get one made up this morning at Earls (Silverstone) so with braided hose in hand I drove to MMG to fit with Liam and bleed with fingers crossed. 30mins later better but still not working :( bit more fault finding by Liam and removed the alloy block that the bleed nipple is attached to (connection to gearbox / slave) found it was not free to blow through one of the passages. Big pop after Liam used his super lungs put back together and as good as new :) Just back together and feels good Paddle is a bit on off lol but pedal super soft ;) masnasged to disturb Liams carpets going back on ramp LOL DG
