Hi Mandarin,

Can the center cap be specified as a different colour? ie silver wheels with a red center cap?

Cheers

James

No, cap only comes as silver/mirror finish. Nothing Halford's finest can't fix though.. :)

Cheers

TD's 1.2 :
8.0 Kg front in 16"
8.7 Kg / 9.4 Kg / 10.0 Kg for 7.5x17" / 8x17" / 9x17"

We need to be 15 persons to place the order. We're already 5...

So, let's join us and we will be 6... ^^ (step by step...)

I'm defiantely in but could you confirm what widths / offsets the wheels are going to be, are they a direct VXR or EXIGE copy size wise, EXIGE I'm assuming?

As promised - some modelled images of the actual wheels :)

Rear - 8J 17" ET35

Posted Image

Front - 7J 16" ET25 (not sure whether to go for ET20 or ET25 tbh)

Posted Image

As above the model shows them with an offset of 25 as per the original VXR sizes, but not sure whether to widen the track slightly as per TD1.2's and go for ET20

Weights - with the above offsets the rear comes in at 10.5kgs and the front comes in at 8.1kgs - so better than expected :D

They where ET20 in the end to give extra clearance for 4pot brakes.

Just been looking at the Thorney Motorsport site and see the Team Dynamics are actually lighter 7.3kg for the fronts and rears sub 8Kg? Anyone know if these weights are accurate? Its quite a considerable difference, especially the rears. I see the TD rears are 7.5" and the Speedline alikes 8", which size tyres are the rims aimed at? I prefer the look of the Comp speedline alikes but that weight saving isn't to be sniffed at?

i think people need to be given a time scale on say last orders by say middle/end on next month and a expected dilivery time from that date subject to everyone paying etc then this may speed things up,
