These threads always amuse me. Add sub-boxes, often pointless (but good looking) louvres and thats all fine as a lot of people here do it. Add any sort of body kit and get flamed. I like the fact that everyone is so passionate about the little waggon but its an individuals car so individualise it if you want. Expect mixed opinions but thats what makes it fun!

In my opinion, there are three issues: (1) the VX is a beautiful, perfectly proportioned car, so why wrap it in sh** and turn it into something which will invariably look worse. It doesn't deserve it! Adding louvres etc does not substantially change, and they do not mask, the shape/lines/ look of the car (2) Why add a whole heap of unnecessary weight to what is supposed to be a lightweight performance vehicle (3) It may very well be his car to do what he wants with, but I can't say I want to be driving/the VX to become the Saxo of the future, although with seemingly every newbie being 12 and asking chav questions, it seems we're heading that way already...

how very boring, someone wants to personalise a very basic car and gets flamed for it! everything in life, cars included are a question of personal taste, and while i most likely wont be going down the road of bodykits etc some of them are undeniably (for me) damn cool for example the bastard rear window slats are amazing imo, some of the cars with added grill sections on the rear can be class too, its all up to the owners to decide what they want, all the original poster asked was where to get them, not for ppl to choose what to get, what colour to paint it etc.

sh** guys, I seem to be bringing the chavs over from my old forums... Sorry In all seriousness though, I was fed up of chavs appearing all over my 206 owners site, couple years ago it was lovely. Now we get d1cks posting 0-110mph videos on 'private' roads, when they live in the middle of stafford.... Right... I've not even got a VX yet, and it makes me weep when something so lovely is destroyed. Perhaps the odd repainting of wheels, and maybe one of those rear spoilers. But full bodykits? Don't make me laugh!

these are damn fine cars, just because chavs like to modify their 206s doesnt mean everyone who likes to modify is a chav, i got into it because my older bros are hot rodders and im too old and respectable to be a chav ;p

On second thoughts go on do it. F up you car and put a body kit on, then when you come to sell it and its worth a couple of grand less than a normal VX, I'll buy it, put it back right and make money out of you
